Baby&Children shopping floor is so nice. (at Main floor 5F)The quality of selected clothes, toys, baby good, stroller are good, also there are many toy samples so that kids happily can wait while parents shopping. Takashimaya's service is splendid.

A very High-quality Premium luxurious Department Store, I would say. If you are thinking of a place for various cheap affordable products/foods, this may not be the right place for you. However, if you can manage to spend quite some budget, and is ready for some comparatively high prices, then you may get some of the best high quality products and foods here. Not only just the atmosphere, but in general, the whole building itslef has a very acute sense of premium value. Or maybe, if you're not willing to really buy anything, you can just hang around here too. There are a lot of places to go, things to see - and don't forget the Pokemon Center as well. So yeah, I would have just gave a 5-start, but just considering the comparatively-low-accessibility compared to other less pricey departments, I gave a 4-start. BUT, that does not mean it is because of it's lacking quality or service or anything, it's only because the overall price is aimed at premium high-budget quality.

Good used stuff , great bargains, upscale products half price off they are 100% originals , luxurious brands on discount good for the ladies.

I love to walk around department stores and this one does not disappoint. There's a variety of stores to check out within this place. There are clothing shops, miscellaneous stuff, and even a food court in the basement levels. The selection of foods there looked amazing, and they even sell those extremely expensive gift fruits. Would recommend to visit if you enjoy browsing department stores without actually buying anything.

The food section at the basement are all good and if you are into shopping this is one of the best place.

This is an amazing step back in time. Old elevators with attendants, old world class and charm, and an outstanding kimono shop on the top floor.

The most standard mall u can find in Japan. If you are from Singapore, u will understand what I meant.

The staff is extremely customer service minded and eager to help. It's clean and tidy and has numerous quality items on display.

It's not too far a walk from Yaesu (east) station entrance. It was opened in 1933 and in the 'Art Deco' style. Try the elevator with a lass (white gloves n' hat) operating it and explaining to all on-board what's on each floor. The when I asked for a photo of the elevator's controls, she explained in detail, "the date it opened and the Otis built in USA lift"

Large cars need to park in Nihonbashi Public Parking, and you need to get validated at the information desk on the 1st floor of main building. Not a car-friendly department store, unfortunately. The good news is you don't have to wait to park, even on weekends.

Pokemon Cafe is located inside this building! if you are looking for a variety of toys better find at the Takashimaya Shinjuku dept. store. as they offer only a small section here. There is a lot of Japan Restaurant as well.

The Nihombashi store is huge! Really awesome views from the connecting bridges above (7th or 8th floor), and lots of little shops including a Pokemon center in the east building. Not to mention it's also beautifully decorated in a golden forest animal theme for the winter season.

This is the department store like Liberty in London. You should try the elevators which has a taste of old days. You can enjoy fantastic atmosphere.

My favorite Takashimaya in Tokyo! Shinjuku is simply way too crowded for my liking, and Nihombashi carries just about the same stores and items, with less than half the crowd in Shinjuku.

Pokémon cafe is fully booked till mid of sep! Restaurant will only serve by booking ! It is necessary to book online in advance before your visit!! However, the souvenir shop is amazing !!

Beautiful Department Store. Loads of options to shop. Traditional and high quality brands are found here. Recommendation: go to basement floor for department food. It’s superb :)

Great place, it's so big that it's two buildings connected by bridges. Has a classy air to it and has a fantastic Pokemon Center. It's generally easy to get around due to decent signposting and it's very accessible.

Great little department store mall. I didn't really explore much of the department stores besides the Pokemon center. Make sure you check that out! Even if you don't buy anything it can be a nifty little shop with all sorts of Pokemon merchandise. Great for kids

The shop keeper for ladies shoes was really kind so I could try so many shoes to put on then, finally found a pair of fantastic leather sneakers!!

The service here is perfect. And all the clerks are polite and wonderful. Seriously consider living around here next time I come to Japan. P.s. Beat 小田急百貨店 in literally every way.

Ahhh, if you wanna experience a really classy mall in Tokyo, visit Nihombashi Takashimaya! The mall boasts of Italian like coffee shops, branded products and even Royce Chocolates. Of course this is a pricey mall since it is really offering classy products. It opens at 10:30am and closes at 7:30pm. When in Nihombashi, visit Takashimaya mall!

Big department store with target market upper level consumer. There are many international brand store here.At B-1 and B-2 floor there are many bakery, food and beverages counters, some mentioned themselve as restaurant, but not provided seating. Only some restaurants provide seat and table.

Always love coming to Takashimaya. Make sure you head down to the supermarket sushi section at the end of the day (anywhere from 1700/1730 onwards) to grab discounted items.

I do not recommend this place. It took 30 min to get a server's attention, and another hour to get our meal. The chicken tempura was only 6 small pieces and there was no hospitality at all. It was embarrassing taking my friends to a Japanese restaurant after telling them how polite and professional they are here. We are now leaving this place to go to another restaurant because we're still hungry. They even charged us an extra $20 for 4 pieces of tofu that we didn't order.100%, I have had better service at Comcast.

The definitive high-end Tokyo department store: spotlessly clean and bright with a wide assortment of luxury goods. Truly extraordinary customer service and attention to detail at every turn. They just opened a huge new Pokémon Center and cafe that are worth visiting. Very cool!

I accidentally find this place as I stayed close to Nihombashi station. Among all Takashimaya I ever been to, Nihombashi Takashimaya is my favorite. Somehow the layout is organized and neat. I visit here everyday and buy most of my foods here. I like that they are fresh compare to cold food at mini market. Their desserts are not something you should miss. I think you can find literally anything here. There is also a small restaurant or shop in every corner. Make sure to visit and explore this place if you stay around the area!

This review is for the celvoke. The staff helped me try the cosmetics and gave me really helpful recommendations. She even stopped me from buying a lip gloss bc the color is the same as the lipstick I bought.

Very fancy shopping centre. Exceptional customer service! Especially the golden lifts with two staff attendees!

High end store. Definitely check out the Pokémon cafe when there! Be prepared for a small wait in busy periods
